We often get patients asking us about the possibility of “regrowing” teeth instead of fixing them with traditional methods like fillings, crowns, root canals and dental implants. The short answer is regrowing full teeth is a bit distant in the research, but we could be around 10 years away from being able to regrow blood vessel and nerve tissue inside a tooth instead of doing a root canal (where the space inside the tooth is filled with an inert material).
