Dear Patients and Families of Eau Claire Park Dental:

We would like to begin by thanking all of you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. We are excited at the prospect of seeing you all again soon!

Premier Kenney announced on April 30th that dental clinics will be permitted to begin reopening for Phase 1 of Alberta’s relaunch strategy starting May 4th. This is subject to approved guidelines form our professional regulatory body, which have not been provided to us yet.

As soon as our doors were closed, we began developing a plan to bring services back in a manner that is safe for you and our team. We are working hard at ensuring we have sufficient supply of personal protective equipment and that we schedule our patients in a manner that allows proper social distancing. We have also invested in new technology called Surgically Clean Air for each room in our clinic, to provide increased safety and peace of mind for our patients and team. We will adhere to all of the necessary new guidelines and regulations that will be released soon by our regulatory body.

This will take us extra time before we can open our doors for you. If you have an upcoming appointment, please continue to assume that is postponed until we contact you to confirm the exact date. Once we have prepared the office for your safe return, our team will contact all patients to arrange appointments.

We have another bit of unfortunate news; Dr. Jennifer Punnett has decided to move back to B.C. to be closer to her family. She will be dearly missed by our patients and whole team, but we wish her the best of luck with this next phase of her life!

As always, we are available to you to help with any other questions or concerns. You may reach us by email or contact us at 403-263-6340. Our admin team will be answering any phone calls between 9am-2pm Monday to Friday beginning Monday May 4th. Drs Swanlund and Graas continue to be available during this time for any emergency dental treatment.
