Studies show that electric toothbrushes remove more plaque than manual brushing. We highly recommend electric toothbrushes to all of our patients. Oral B and Sonicare are the two most common brands. You can base your decision on personal preference as both brands are of very high quality.

Waterpik® Products
Waterpik® flossers are an amazing oral hygiene tool, great for cleaning around braces, implants, and bridges. Even if you don’t have any of these dental treatments, Waterpik® flossers are fantastic for reducing inflammation and gingivitis, making your dental hygiene visits less painful!
We offer the cordless model in our practice because they take up less counter space and are more convenient than the larger, corded version.

Toothpaste, rinses and floss
We offer the CariFree line of toothpaste and treatment rinses in our practice. These products provide a different approach to dental care as they are pH elevated and change the chemical balance of your mouth. These premium products are scientifically proven to prevent cavities.
Cavities are caused by a bacterial imbalance in your mouth. When dentists drill and fill cavities, they are only treating the result of the infection, not the imbalance itself; thus, the decay returns.
Until recently, dentists believed that if you remove bacteria with good oral hygiene, you’ll be free of decay. The problem is that it’s just not that simple.
CariFree elevated pH products neutralize decay-causing acids and fix your decay problem at its source. Safe to use every day, CariFree non-abrasive products are highly effective and scientifically proven to prevent cavities through remineralization.
CariFree CTX4 5000 toothpaste
Benefits include:
- pH Neutralization: Counteracts low/acidic pH that leads to cavities.
- Xylitol: An effective anticavity agent rarely found in dental products due to the high cost. In order to provide therapeutic benefit, your toothpaste should have a minimum concentration of 10% xylitol.
- Fluoride: There is abundant scientific evidence showing how fluoride strengthens the teeth and makes them less susceptible to acid attacks.
- Nano Hydroxyapatite: Mimics the building blocks of natural enamel, a more effective enamel repair material and anticavity agent.
- Non-abrasive: A very important factor if you have recession or tooth wear.
CariFree CTX4 Treatment Rinse
This rinse is designed to restore your oral balance towards healthy bacteria, reduce the overpopulation of cariogenic bacteria, and neutralize oral pH. This rinse is done twice/day for one month, followed by the CTX3 rinse.
Benefits include:
- pH Neutralization: Counteracts low/acidic pH that leads to cavities.
- Antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal: This rinse kills bacteria on contact. Studies have demonstrated that using this rinse eliminates or reduces cavity-causing bacteria and replaces them with healthy organisms.
- Fluoride: There is abundant scientific evidence showing how fluoride strengthens the teeth and makes them less susceptible to acid attacks.

Long term daily maintenance rinse for those prone to cavities.

Smartmouth Rinse
Using patented zinc ion technology, Smartmouth rinse is designed to stop bad breath at its source and prevent it from coming back. For best results, rinse twice per day.
Smartmouth is of the few over-the-counter rinses with a neutral pH. Many mouth rinses available have very acidic pH, which can increase your risk for cavities and enamel wear.
Cocofloss Luxury Dental Floss
Of all the products we offer, this one is the newest and one we are particularly excited about! Cocofloss is the most cleansing dental floss available as it is infused with soothing coconut oil, naturally aromatic fruit oils, and vegan wax.
